The Pasco County TNVR Program

Pasco County Animal Services is proud to offer an alternative to euthanasia for stray and feral cats. The TNVR (Trap Neuter Vaccinate Return) program offers sterilization and vaccination for stray and feral cats in Pasco County. Participants only pay $5.00 for sterilization and vaccination of feral/stray cats and the cats can be returned to their colony to live out their lives.

The TNVR program is available at Planned Pethood in Wesley Chapel, FL. Cats can be dropped off Monday-Friday between 8am-8:30am. Pick-up is around 4pm. An appointment is required!

How to Qualify

To qualify for the TNVR program:

  • Cats must come from Pasco County
  • The cat must be brought to us in a humane trap (cats in carriers will not be permitted)
  • Cats must appear to be healthy and weigh at least 3 lbs
  • Participant must pay the $5.00 copay and reclaim the cat after sterilization

The Pasco County SNIP Program (Low-Cost Spay/Neuter)

The SNIP program is a low-cost spay and neuter program for cats owned by families in Pasco County, and Planned Pethood is happy to participate for the benefit of our community.

Pasco County residents may have up to 3 pets spayed or neutered per household per year.

To qualify, you must meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Currently receive Medicaid, SNAP, WIC or SSI benefits
  • Meet the household income guidelines
