BOAS Surgery for Short-Nosed Breed Dogs
Planned Pethood is now offering advanced BOAS (Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome) surgery using laser technology to improve breathing in short-nosed breeds. BOAS surgery can enhance quality of life, reduces risk of respiratory distress, and decreases snoring.
At Planned Pethood, BOAS surgery will include widening the nostrils and shortening the soft palate to enlarge the opening around the airway
Because this is a GENETIC condition, all patients who would like BOAS surgery at Planned Pethood will be REQUIRED to be spayed/neutered before the procedure.
**Price generally ranges between $500-$900.
